I have neglected to say thank you for offering such a wonderful plant as the "Salvia Amistad". I ordered two of these last spring and and my hummers (hummingbirds) fight over them non - stop. Here we are almost at October and in Michigan that means those little jewels will be a memory soon. So I am already making plans for the butterfly / hummer garden next spring and at the top of the list a...

I have found FBTS to be a very good experience so far. Very helpful on the phone in answering my questions. Not sure yet how my plants will fare, but if they do not do well it will most likely be my errors! Plants look great so far!!
I first ordered from Flowers by the Sea in the spring of 2013, and have ordered from them every succeeding year since then. Their nursery stock arrives very carefully packed which reflects the care they put into to their product. The plants they send are very full and very healthy. By some people's standards I am an extreme gardener, and I have dealt with many many mail order nurseries. To thi...

The 3 Salvia sagittata arrived healthy and have taken off. The 1 Salvia patens Guanajuato had very few roots. It was loose in the pot and perhaps suffered root damage in the long transit. It's not dead, but is the plant TLC and has lost one stem. The packing was good. I think occasional losses are just part of ordering plants by mail. Would order from them again.

No exaggeration to say they were healthier than most plants I've bought in-person at a nursery. Went in the ground, took 2 weeks of every other day watering and they were established even though I planted ...

Plants looked very good at very reasonable prices.
I love you guys--the S. macrophylla started blooming flowers a few days after it arrived and so are the canariensis and radula that I ordered earlier in the month. They are absolutely gorgeous and I have no doubt they will thrive once planted in the ground. Thank you thank you!I also wrote a yelp review to help get your site out there :-)http://www.yelp.com/biz/flowers-by-the-sea-elk#hrid:-oMrU...
Beautiful, unusual plants at a good price. The service was great. I am very happy with my purchase.

I received my first order (of salvias) three days ago - they came to North Texas via regular mail and look great. They are large, no leaf drop, and are already over the 'not so perky' phase that comes with being shipped; several have open blooms already. I appreciate the very reasonable prices which help offset the cost of postage. Great selection - I have already made a second order. (Can't...

I received my second order of great looking plants - they were sent on Monday and didn't arrive until Friday - only slightly limp; I said "great looking" because they were thick, bushy and very healthy looking.
